Hey everyone, Snowballpink here… For the last time.

Read the title. Yeah, I’m retiring. And honestly, I wish I wasn’t. I was planning on retiring two months ago. But I didn’t want to also. The thing is, I’ve been with ACPTR pretty much my entire ACP Army Career. The first day I joined ACP I recieved my rank. Then, I found the ACPTR website and joined the very first day. Here is my history to explain it all.

The History of Snowballpink

It was early September, 2007. I had invited my friend over to come hang out at my house. We got on the computer and started playing random games on the internet. She pulled up a website known as Club Penguin. I asked her what this game was. She told me it was a multiplayer game called Club Penguin. It looked pretty cool, so I joined. I decided to name my penguin Snowballpink because pink was my favorite color at the time and I put snowball because it was the first thing to come to my head. With that, my penguin was born.

I began playing at my home server South Pole. It was one of those months where Rockhopper visited Club Penguin. My very first item I recieved was the puffle pirate flag pin. I spent most of my months on Club Penguin doing nothing really specific but playing games and hanging out with random penguins. But something was missing. The sad fact was, none of the penguins I hung out with I never really saw again. I felt alone…

It was the begining of April, when I stumbled upon two groups of penguins on the server Mammoth. The first group were the Ninjas and the second group was known as ACP, Army of Club Penguin. I joined the Ninjas for a few days until someone from the ACP shouted “SEARCH ACP ARMY OF CLUB PENGUIN!” So I did as the penguin had said. I went up on Google and typed in ACP Army of Club Penguin. I clicked the first link and there it was. The group I was searching for…

While looking through all of ACP’s pages and posts. I noticed that the entire website was very organized and discovering the ACP Training Regiment gave me the urge to join even more. So I pulled up the join page answered the joining questions and recived my rank that very day, on April 1st, 2009 I was given the rank of Warrent Officer. Soon after I recieved my rank I joined the ACP Training Regiment as a cadet. I graduated with an A+ without reciveing a bad grade the entire month. I was then put up on the A+ Graduates page on the ACP Training Regiment website for the month of April 2009.

It was promotion day, since I graduated from the ACP Training Regiment with an A+ I was given the rank of Captain. After I recieved my first promotion, I had my first major war with the Nachos. Although the war ended up being a tie, I will always remember it as my first major battles fighting along side the ACP.

A month later after the ACP vs Nacho war, the ACP Training Regiment had a drill leader spot opened I joined and soon became the drill leader of the blue team. I lead cadets from month to month, soon being promoted to practice battle leader. I was practice battle leader for two months or so before TyloV5 retired as the ACP Training Regiment leader. Elections were held, even though I thought I deserved the leader spot the most, Matre10 won which made me the Co-Leader of the ACP Training Regiment. Once again, promotion day arrived. I was promoted to General. Later after that, Senate elections began. I once again for my second time, I ran for senate hoping I would be able to be a senator to actually be able to help the ACP more then I usually do. The day after elections began was the day the elections ended. I achomplished my goal, I became a senator.

A few months later, I was promoted to Division General of ACP’s Alpha Division. This was probably my hardest challenge yet. I tried to get Alpha more active with the help of the other Division General at the time, Bfan212. After weeks of attempts, we weren’t as successful as we thought we would be. There were still alot of Alpha soldiers that did not attend events. We had failed.

A month after the attempts, Matre10, the ACP Training Regiment’s leader at the time, private chatted me on ACP Chat and asked “Are you ready to be ACPTR Leader?” I said “Yes.” So then it happend, on February 5, 2010 I became the ACP Training Regiment’s leader. Which meant I would have to leave the Alpha Division as it’s Division General but still keep my rank. My first month as leader was the greatest month in ACP Training Regiment history. With a total of thirteen active cadets, they all graduated with an A+.

My time as ACP Training Regiment Leader has lasted for 6th months. I hope my time as leader has helped atleast a little. Now, my reasons for retiring are the following:

School is starting up again for me soon. On September 7th, I will be in 7th grade. 7th grade is important because my grades actually count for getting me into high school. I’ve been way to addicted to ACP and it did affect my grades.
Addiction. Explained in the first reason.
My inactivity.
Club Penguin Armies have become boring. I’m twelve years old. I think it’s time to move on.

My main goal was to become leader of ACP. But that never happend and most likely never will at this rate. I’m dissapointed in myself though. So many people have told me they think I would be a great leader and now I’m letting them down. However, it’s time for me to move on. I’ll keep my promise though. I might not be leader of the ACP, but I’ll be a leader in life.

Here are some of the people I would like to thank. They are the reason why I’m here today.

TyloV5: The Dobby! You have probably helped me the most in my noob days. You were the leader of the ACPTR when I was a cadet, after all. You’re a great friend and hilarious! Thank you for everything.

Twingy: Thank you for being the most active Co-Leader I’ve ever known. You’ve helped me make some tough decisions. And even made me laugh when I was depressed. Thank you for always being there for me even when I didn’t need you. You’re a great friend. Thank you.

Casiusbrutus: We did have some trouble in the past, but I think we’ve settled our differences. And as promised, you’re name has been cleared. I hope everyone can forget about the past and be able to move on and concentrate on the cadets. If that’s already been done, great. Thank you for helping me in my time as leader. And thank you for being such a great Chairman to the ACPTR.

Cg2916: Thank you for keeping this place active. You’ve done a great job. You might even be able to take on the position of ACPTR Leader if you keep it up. Good luck and thank you.

Drill Team Leaders: Jackie202, Sklooperis, Mr Dunning, Timmy0000: Thank you for your leadership skills. You’ve helped recruit, train and dicspline the cadets since day one of your arrivals. Thank you for being such a great help.

Matre10: A great friend. You’ve given me great advice and we’ve shared many laughs together. Don’t worry, Chuck Norris is still coming on chat once in a while. XD Thank you for everything.

Danny9632: You thought I would forget you didn’t you? Well, you were wrong. You’ve probably helped me the most. You’re the greatest friend I’ve ever had in ACP. We’ve shared the most laughs, we’ve gotten in some fights, but that never stopped us. You were one of the people that got me to ACPTR leader. Thank you for everything.

I’m retiring from ACPTR, but I’ll still be on ACP chat once in awhile. Thank you for everything. And as for the new ACPTR Leader. Twingy. He’s a good leader and will probably do better than I ever did.

My final request is to remain an advisor for ACPTR. I still want to be here, so if it’s ok.

The Need To Vote

Snowballpink: This was my second time running for Senate, The previous time I lost, but this time i’ve won. Because of this I say thank you to everyone that voted for me, I appreciate it.

Hey everyone Snowballpink here,

ACP Senate elections have begun. I really want to become a senator because I feel as if I want to do more for ACP besides being a general and the ACP Training Regiment’s Co Leader. If I am elected, I will take this job very seriously and will always listen to the opinions of the soldiers before doing anything. Before a meeting, I will always gather ideas, opinions, suggestions, anything before the senate meeting starts and will bring them up and give credit to the soldier that suggested their idea, opinion, or suggestion. If there is anything else you would like me to add, I am mostly on chat so PC me and I promise I will add it. If you want the best choice, then vote Snowballpink as an ACP Senator!

Have CP Armies Changed CP?

With the start of the New Year approaching, I like to look back at the year and I noticed something. This year alone, three new CP armies were made, along with others growing drastically. But did anyone realize how much this is changing CP? I remember in the good ole days when i would log in to CP so I could hang out with friends and just have fun, play some connect four, do a sled race, etc. Now it seems with the “invasion” of CP armies, the activities we loved are no longer our priority on CP. Now we use CP as battlegrounds where we fight over owning servers and “controlling” them. What people don’t realize is that it’s just a game and you can’t own servers! CP armies also have been harrassing innocent people on CP to join their armies and come and talk on their chat. CHats are a way where people can talk to each other on CP withouth the dreaded filter. But that is not always a good thing! People get bullied, harrassed, and namecalled on chats.

So we have to ask ourselves in the future, what is the fate of CP? Will it be used as the fun hang out spot that we love, or will it be a battle ground for FAKE armies for their pleasure. I know people will hate me for this, but just realize that i was 3IC of one of the biggest armies in CP. I know the damaged that CP armies have caused, and I hope that we can fix that in the New Year. THey are no longer social groups, CP armies are now acting like REAL armies that want to control servers and people, which is not right.
